What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade - What It Is

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would round things out when it arrives.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
